TJ’s describes their Cinnamon Roll Bread as ooey-gooey, sweet, buttery bread with cinnamon sugar and raisins.

When we tasted the cinnamon roll bread from TJ’s, our expectations were high. “Ooey gooey,” according to TJ, maybe a bit of a stretch.

In full disclosure, Trader Joe’s Cinnamon Roll Bread is essentially a good raisin bread. There is no ooey-gooey to it and there isn’t any sweet glaze or icing on it.

We bought one loaf for our review. The bread was too dry to eat without first warming it up and adding butter or Trader Joe’s Cinnamon Bun Spread to it.

Once warmed up and slathered with butter and TJ’s Cinnamon Roll spread, it was cinnamon-y perfection. The heat brought out the rich, buttery cinnamon and raisin flavors.
